Jordan: Further drop in temperatures on Saturday; see expected temperatures

Arab Weather - Temperatures will drop further during the daytime hours of Saturday, May 16, 2026, becoming 3-5 degrees Celsius lower than their usual averages for this time of year, amid generally pleasant weather in various regions, tending towards coolness during the early morning hours over the mountainous highlands.

Clouds will appear at different altitudes, with a possibility of local rain in parts of the north of the Kingdom during the morning hours. The winds will be moderate northwesterly, becoming active at times during the afternoon and evening hours, accompanied by strong gusts at times that will stir up dust and sand in the eastern plains and desert regions.

Maximum temperatures will be in the low 20s Celsius in various regions, including the capital Amman, while they will be close to the end in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba regions.

It is advisable to wear a light coat during the morning hours, especially in mountainous areas, in addition to being aware of the reduced horizontal visibility due to dust in the eastern and desert regions.
